When you cross the last mall in Gurgaon democracy ends. It is a story about a couple’s road trip gone bad when they try to dig deep in a family matter in the wilderness of Haryana.
The movie has a hollywood like treatment and is thrilling and chilling at places. Though both the lead actors are good, Anushka Sharma does stand out as she needs to maximum screen time and acting scope. The film shows the glaring difference between the urban and rural India and thought process of there habitats. Honor killings especially in north India has been a problem for long now and the gender gap both in numbers and mindset does not help.
It is a tough subject to make a film on and expect commercial success but Anushka Sharma thought otherwise and all credit goes to her to picking this subject. She is also the reason for its success so far at the box office. the climax though not unexpected keeps the audience excited and pumped up. Some of the scenes are quite violent so use discretion.
