When two local detectives investigate a missing child’s case, it becomes a life changing experience for them.
I was impressed by Argo but after watching this movie I am quite certain that Ben Affleck is a better director than an actor. There is truthfulness in his style of story telling. Every scene in this film is realistic and well crafted. Though the movie seems to be a tad longer than what it should have been and in places it is slow. The final product though is defiantly something you should not miss. It has a unique ending that makes you think and it stays with you, a hallmark of a good director and story-teller.
Now coming to the actors, Morgan Freeman or Ed Harris are absolutely free-flowing. Casey Affleck (Ben’s brother) is good but could have been better but I felt Michelle Monaghan’s part was bit under written. It finally boils down to the story and screenplay which are the actual hero’s here.
