I am someone who has been following the rise of special effects in Hollywood movies for a long time now and I don’t easily fall for below par production quality but Baahubali 2 really impressed me. Sure it still does don’t have a budget like say a King Kong Skull Island , but it is still well made. Yes it look artificial but that is how it was designed to look as it is a fantasy. The story is simple and very very predictable but the scale and visual effects of this movie surely takes Indian cinema to the next level.

As per the actors, all of them did their part well. There is not much emotional connect as the character development is limited. For the most part the film is heavy on fights and grandeur with every second scene shot in slow motion, so much so that if they would have shot them in normal speed the movie would have ended in 2 hours. Another thing that is worth mentioning is the dubbing as it is excellent. You don’t feel you are watching a movie made in a different language.

It is a must see on the big screen and kudos to S S Rajamauli for his superb efforts.
